I don’t know if anyone has put this in the forum; but where can we get those shirts, “It’s okay. We Hate you too.”?
Great shirt!
Man… I was really hoping to get one. Thanks for the update and response chief.Looked for it last night. They don't have it.
Luckly, I still have an old one and wear it every chance I get.does anybody remember when we (fans) used to wear them at Nationals? I wish I still had an old one.
They need to market theI don’t know if anyone has put this in the forum; but where can we get those shirts, “It’s okay. We Hate you too.”?

He was one of my favorites from 2009 I believe. Maybe 2010.I believe you have to reach out to Jay Borschel directly.
Just kidding for people who aren’t chronically online.
I don’t want to make this thread about Jay (I know I am the one who made the joke to bring him up so my bad). I don’t know him, but I think he probably still loves Iowa. That’s probably why he is frustrated with the state of things. If he didn’t like Iowa he wouldn’t care about the losses and perception. He was one of my favorites from 2009 I believe. Maybe 2010.
Edit: I didn't know he was no longer a hawk fan. That is disappointing. This board is getting bad like rivals.
With trick knees to boot.Jay Borschel is a poor mans Ben Askren.
Exactly Iowa still moves the wrestling needle . And the fact that Flo is talking about the shirts proves itFlowrestling also commented on the shirt. They pointed out that Iowa is not really relevant in the team race so it doesn't make sense like it did in the 80s and 90s. While their point is true, Iowa still remains a hated team...especially on social media. Hell, many of our fans had them as dead on not medaling. Nobody cares if Virginia Tech, Iowa State or Ohio State underperforms. But man were they waiting for Iowa and Brands to fall on their face. So yea, a throwback "circle the wagons" morale t-shirt was made for the guys...big whoop.
There i s nothing in that tweet that would say he is not a Hawk fan. He just thinks it's bad for the program.I didn't know he was no longer a Hawk fan. That is disappointing. This board is getting bad like rivals
Just add him to the list of legend alumniHe was one of my favorites from 2009 I believe. Maybe 2010.

My only question is why is Iowa hated? It isn't for winning to much anymore. I would say if we were winning every year then you embrace the hate. I just don't see why the team thinks people hate them. Most people in Cleveland were impressed that they wrestled better than expectations. I like Mikey and I am glad he didn't shake hands as well.I say embrace the Hate, we earned it. One thing about wrestling that does not get talked about is, you get to be a bully/alpha dog and be embraced for it by fans . There will always be hate for people at the top, sometimes its lonely up there. Iowa earned the hate. Has anyone noticed there is a lot of hate going on towards PSU nowadays, same.
One other thing is to point out is Shaking of hands. The athletes while on the mat shake hands before the match and after, the teams shake hands before a meet and after, there is no reason for anymore unless the athlete chooses to. some do and some dont its not a requirement! This is a very competitive sport, you do not have to love your opponent it's not required!
Jay Borschel doesn't like these shirts. In fact, after reading his tweets I'm not sure if Jay Borschel likes much of anything.
Jay Borschel kind of sounds like a miserable turd. (Fwiw - I'm not 100% sold that this is even Jay Borschel)
The hate was from the way Iowa won. In your face, mentally and physically breaking their opponents.I agree. Old school motivational tactics long passed, because Iowa used to be hated for winning, now just hated. Athletes don't want hate, just the love. Peace out.
