Probably will be a quality back-up that helps the team when in and and good spot starter when it's favorable to RU based on the opponents roster.

Glad to have him back. Very good news. Where are we at with Mulcahy? No confirmation yet correct?

He’ll be behind cliff, mag, Gavin, Paul, Simpson, Fernandez, and spencer. That’s not even debatable. You really gonna argue that?
Can't really see much of an argument Hyatt is ahead of any of these guys. Solid 8th man agreed. Big difference with Hyatt as a bench guy where he can play a little more when he's hot vs needing to rely on him for scoring and major minutes on a nightly basis

Off chance he finally puts it together bc he does have talent but we don't necessarily NEED a big year from him with other options

So if Paul and Cliff are back and Hyatt is the eight man...Then I guess we have Wolf, Chol and hopefully Ndongo and Davis....Am I missing anyone?

Maybe even 9th if Ndongo or Mbako ends up here.

If we can avoid the injury bug and the remaining commits sign and show up, we will be so much deeper than we were since... ?

Players out, players in:
Caleb (D monster, inconsistent O) - closest replacement is Gavin, who probably will be far better on O and far worse on D.

Miller (okay D, nonexistent on O) - closest replacement is Fernandes - huge upgrade

Reiber (big step back from the previous year, where he showed flashes at times) - shall we say this is the Baye slot, if he signs and comes? That would be a huge upgrade.

Palmquist (good outside shot when he finally was forced into the rotation, but not a glaring loss) Replacement is Davis, not a position for position swap but that's the other newcomer expected. Looks like an upgrade, too, although a completely different skill set.

Cliff, Paul, Mag (please heal up!), Spencer, Simpson, Hyatt, and Woolfolk. Chol as the raw guy, let's see how he develops.

Room for one more scholarship player.

His two most memorable moments are the free throws at Indiana and the turnaround at minnesota.
Glad he’s back. He is a solid player.

Hyatt's value will be probably be highest early in the season if Mag isn't ready depending on how the finals roster shakes out with whoever else we land who can play the 4
