Hydroxyl or ozone generators

My friends best friend just bought a house and it has horrible cigarette odor. Ozone and or hydroxyl generators were mentioned as a solution because so many of the other solutions will end up costing the same as cheaper methods after you use multiple?

I have an ozone generator, and it definitely knocks out the cigar odor in my basement. Not familiar with the other solution you mentioned

Ozone is the best thing I've found to get rid if cigarette smoke in rental properties.

Get him to try the ozone generator and report the results. I know a guy who sells shady used cars and claims ozone kills stink completely. I think it would be like a fire damaged house: if you can’t paint it, you have to toss it or the smell comes back.

Ozone is a respiratory irritant. Use the ozone machine to burn up (react) all the cig smoke chemicals that are left in the house, then air it out to get rid of the ozone.

Only while they are running. You set them up on a timer, then come back a couple of hours after they are done.
