Williamsport native, Tommy Cillo age 58 is on Lycoming College's roster for 2025. Quit his job with the Wmspt school dist., and went back to college. I'll be over at Lyco checking out his progress.
Wow, he’s also a national record setting power lifter in the deadlift. He’s six feet tall and 220 lbs. Looks to be in great shape. I’m 58, he‘s kind of inspirational. I actually started lifting and cardio again a month and a half ago. I went into physical therapy for some neck pain/stiffness and it got me started again, so I wanted to keep it up. Tommy Cillo is doing great at 58.
There's exceptions but largely I agree. It's the 6th or 7th year of eligibility I have a problem with not so much the age. BYU has always had some older guys as they did a mission first so they'd be 24-25 starting college at 20.
Hawaii used a 29 year old punter last night, if I caught that correctly on TV.
Hope he doesn't end up injured. That's a bit old to be crashing into younger/faster/stronger men.
Speaking of punters: while watching the Kansas vs Fresno St game, the announcer mentioned that KU had to find a new punter because the previous punter transferred to Colorado. His reason: he didn't get to punt enough @ KU as their starter. I guess that is a valid reason.
Is the guy making anything in NIL pay? If so it’s probably more than the “real job” he’d be working.

Yes precisely what I was thinking. This is his "real job" and may pay him more than a lot of people's real jobs.
Doubtful...he spent 3 years at Texas Tech...redshirt then COVID before playing at Abiliene Christian...I'd be shocked of WKU is giving him much cash but maybe. At least he's only actually playing for the 4th season like some guys who have played 5+ years because of COVID
