The UK Football team is cursed. I don't know when and I don't know why it is cursed, I just know that it is.
I have been following UKFB for 50+ years. I have lived thru 11 coaching staffs and watched 52 recruiting classes come and go. I had season tickets for several years when I lived in KY.
Blanton Collier, Charlie Bradshaw, John Ray, Fran Curci, Jerry Claiborne, Bill Curry, Hal Mumme, Guy Morris, Rich Brooks, Joker Phillips, and now Mark Stoops. They all have one thing in common. Their teams make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. Bad turnovers, untimely penalties, missed assignments, inability to get plays off in time, shooting themselves in the foot over and over again, and then to add insult to injury, poor coaching decisions abound.
The names have changed, but the play has always remained constant, abysmal, and that is being kind
So, I am convinced that we are cursed and I will not live long enough to see a good, well-coached winning football team at my University of Kentucky.
How else can you explain a half century of bad football? I give.
