I'm not even gonna lie, I cried a little. I feel like any hope for this program has just been crushed. I'm NEVER buying into another coach again! They either put out results or not. I'm sick of this crap!
This is a horribly sour note to end a season on. The inexplicable meltdown on all phases during the 2nd half almost mirrors the way the entire season fell apart during the second half. Coach Stoops is going to have to overhaul this staff in the off season to restore any semblance of optimism in the fan base for next year.
OP hit the nail on the head. UK football has totally taken the joy out of watching them play over the years. I just have no more heart to give... it's been ripped out way to many times.
I wish I could give all of y'all a big hug. Today was a real kick in the nuts.
Its such a depressing loss. I feel like my heart was ripped out and stomped on.
I haven't cried tears of anger in nearly 20 years until today......I cannot imagine I'd be as strong as those of you that were there in person. And, of course, this is after stupid me talking s#&$ to my friends in Louisville for a lot of the first half. :uzi: Stoops and his whole crew of screw-ups :chairshot:
I've been through that before, it sucks. You either open yourself up to it every season or you shut it off and don't care about the results. I chose the latter. UK football tries to tease and make you think it's going to be good only to rip your heart out at the last second.
