I am deeply disappointed in the city I live in.

I don't blame the cops for this one (too cliche anyways IMO), but rather the parents. Watch your kids, don't let them have realistic looking gun type toys, and sure as hell teach them to never raise a perceived weapon towards the cops in the society and world we live in today. If it had been a real gun and the kid had shot the cop dead, I seriously doubt we'd have the same outrage in the media and society. I wonder why that is...actually I know why that is...doesn't fit the agenda.

The only thing that gets me is the "my life was in danger" excuse. 5.0 also says that when they empty a clip into a family pet. Then they investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing.

But, in this case, the dispatchers who didn't report the caller said the "gunman" was likely a juvenile and the gun was likely fake screwed up the most.

I agree. It's like the case of the guy who was killed in Walmart for holding a BB gun while talking on his phone. Police made no effort to investigate the situation because the person reporting it even described his weapon as an assault rifle, etc. The caller legally caused a murder.

I live in Waterville, Maine....for now.

When the police officers who shot that 12yo boy down like a dog were cleared of all wrong doing by the grand jury, my heart ached....it was flat out murder and everyone here seems not just fine, but happy about it.

I've lived here for 9 years and literally had no idea of the type of people I live with.

I'm not going to go into it...we all know what happened.

I have a 10 year old son and the thought that he may be killed because he is holding a toy has kept me up at night (and he'd likely say has made me very smothering )

Basically i'm just using the forum as a shoulder to "cry" on today (and not to bury you all in a wall of text with me ranting and bawling) for that I thank you for your indulgence.

(ok.....I know there are maybe 4-5 people here who'd claim i'm "trolling" somehow. To them I say that if you consider THIS trolling, it says a lot more about you as a person than it does me.)

I think you need to get a grip on reality.

Look, don't get your kid a toy gun. Simple. You notice how you conveniently left off "gun" when talking about "being killed because he is holding a toy". Kids are not being killed because of toys, they are being killed because of awful police training and toys that look like real weapons. That's it Kitty. Problem solved.

What's really going on in Maine? You bored up there and need to vent off your passive aggressiveness through the Paddock, where half us are apathetic and only care about breast and ***.

Oh and I heard Maine chicks are kinda plain looking. Is that true?

willy, i think a picture of a naughty teacher would make this post more "feel good".hook us up bro
