Lol at seeing the headlines of the Brands Bros. being arrested for trespassing when they refuse to leave the facility if they get axed... Is Gable gonna be on the loud speaker negotiating with them?

They're blowing smoke. Half our roster has no business being on a D1 program.
Those days have been over for a while. But that doesn't mean we should have to stomach a program where the wrestlers bring zero offense and gas out before every opponent. Regardless of where we've sat talent wise, we could always count on our guys being in better condition and outlasting the other team's guys. That apparently is gone and we now have guys who are consistently outworked, outgutted, and outwrestled in the final minute of matches. That was never a thing, is completely avoidable and is 100% on our coaches.
Fortunately/Unfortunately we are talking about salaried, paid employees.
With that distinction comes a level of scrutiny previously not in play.
No different than working in a corporation where your job performance is evaluated on a regular basis.
Poor performance and you lose your standing.
This is the new world of college athletics.

Terry moving to HWC would be ideal but in all honesty, would he even agree to that? I'm sure Lee, DeSanto would be affected if both Brands left but that's just an assumption on my end. My bet would be if Tom is gone, Terry isn't going to stick around (another assumption). And if Tom's gone, I'd guess they'll clean house with Telford and Morningstar (which is what should happen). So who leads the HWC if Dennis is replaced since a new head coach is coming in and would probably want his own HWC coach. What's Cejudo doing these days? Is he a realistic replacement for the HWC? I could see the guys responding to him and he would obviously have a Brands component in his coaching. Would Mocco be a possibility for either the college staff or the HWC? I've always thought Snyder out at NE would be a great head coach, sure JB and Dake would be bigger names but not sure if that's possible. Snyder might be able to get Tervel to come as well. Sure some PSU influence would be great so get Nolf, N.Lee, Zain in as an assistant and throw in Kem for the other. I think another great coach in hiding is Pritzloff, dude is making some quiet noise out east with Columbia. Speaking of Columbia, Keegan would be a great assistant to bring in the Askren mindset. Would Coleman Scott give up his club gig to be a HC here?

I can’t watch this anymore. It’s no longer fun. I’m cancelling my season tickets. I stopped going to home meets - it’s no longer worth the drive. I don’t even watch some of the meets on TV anymore and when I do, I fast forward through it.

Penn State had plenty of competitive teams prior to Carl. What they didn't have was much of a fan base, apparently. You also apparently have a Penn State wrestling board as well (?), never read it so I just have to assume it's real. But here you are. Weird.
One thing I know for certain, when Iowa was rolling out Spencer Lee, Kemdawg, Eirman, Marinelli, DeSanto, Fat Tony Cassioppi, etc., you had to look real hard on the previous Iowa Wrestling board to find a comment from a Penn State "fan". They were eerily silent and nowhere to be found. Good times indeed.

Not sure if I’m one of the ones you’re referring to but since I recently posted about giving up my season tickets and it not being worth the drive but I can assure you that I have never given a moments thought about when psu fans jumped on board and I couldn’t f#*%#king care less!! I also have never visited your board or any other teams board because I simply don’t care what any of you has to say about Iowa wrestling! Hope that clears things up for you.
I agree with most of this except your final sentence. Family members and recruits should NEVER hop on the forums and they definitely should never base any decisions off what they read here. Why let anonymous posters put you in a bad mood or worse, sway or dictate some life changing decision?

Yes, about 5 of them. The few "good" posters you actually have. Guys with a clue who know how to interact respectfully on another fanbases board and talk actual wrestling.
The PSU trolls that exist here today (I have an extremely large list of your dorks on Ignore), that had been here before 2020 were long gone, but now that Iowa isn't #1 anymore, they're back. Funny how that works heh? You didn't need the Ignore feature for a couple of years, just silence from the kittie fans.
Apparently the supposed wrestling board PSU has (?), is dogshit, and they wouldn't allow your own trolls on that site, let alone anyone else. Weird.
There was back and forth from what I recall and I think things were a little more wide open back then .
As for the board, it seems fine to me. There's only so much controversy going on now.
We had the 141 stuff from Nagao getting hurt to Davis silliness and talk about who should probably be at that spot when you include Desmond. And then early honor of a little bit of controversy about Mirasola but he's been improving .
