Well I didn't know the circumstances of Kiffin leaving. I was just aware that USC came in and picked him off....and the best I remember he hadn't been there long. Things like that happen when a coach gets hot big schools start looking at them and I didn't know if that was a concern again form TN fans. I take it the big donors you mentioned didn't want to keep Kiffin. I don't know the professional abilities of Kiffin but from what I saw of him at USC, TN didn't lose a lot. With USC hitting a few bumps with their current coach...if you want to call it that....I was just wondering if TN fans might be nervous again since it appears that Jones is doing a pretty good job. Thanks for your response.

Kiffin had been O coordinator at USC and coached there with his buddy Orgeron who he took with him from UT. They always wanted to return there. It's always an unknown if a coach has family or a past that makes them want to return to a particular team, but TN has as much to offer as anyone in the country. Now if he wants to coach NFL or if he gets tired of fans saying he's on the hotseat because he loses one game.. who knows?
