I didn't realize Obama's devastation of the Dem party was this bad

Under President Obama, Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats. That's some legacy

Wonder how he got elected twice in electoral landslides both times? How to have been "low information voters" and the "main stream media" [roll]:flush:

The fact remains that Obama has devastated the Dem Party. This is consistent with what he has done to the country. The losses the Dems have suffered under Obama have been historic.

The problem with the Democratic Party has little to do with Obama. Democrats generally don't look at politics with the religious fervor that wingnuts do. Therefore, we have difficulty getting out the vote-especially in a non-presidential election. But when Democrats actually show up and vote, it's never good for the republicans. That is why the GOP has made it a top priority to try and keep people from voting with all these id laws and such.

You are smoking some good **** if you don't believe Obama has an impact on these races. Bevin ran directly against Obama and Obamacare. So too did most of the 2014 candidates. Obama's name is poison in many, many states. Just look at WV. As the Dems continue to move further and further left, there national numbers will continue to shrink.

Nice try but it doesn't fly. I don't think all those "religious wingnuts" were responsible for the 12 year run by Reagan/Bush 1 (which would have been 16 years if Perot was not in) or the 8 years under Bush 2.

The Democrats lost their grip in many states long before obama. WV and TN voted for W over Gore-and Gore is from TN. No doubt Obama is toxic to many candidates but those are mainly in the South-where the evangelicals have taken over.

That is totally false. Democrats want democrats to vote early and often. Republicans think once is enough. You are telling me that the Bernie Sanders wing of the democaric party isn't fervent? Really? You are denying it or lying!

Foolish how you can Gerrymander almost the entire country then.

Obama is responsible for the historic losses of Dems across the country and libs are still clamoring about how great he is, lol. He has been the best weapon for the GOP in history. He has moved the party so far to the left that an old socialist is getting about 35% support of the Dems and overall, the majority of Dems favor socialism over capitalism. Wow, what a record.

California, Illinois,Maryland, NY are all liberal state run govt and are in horrible fiscal shape. All four of those states will be looking for a bailout because of bad management. Hopefully, the Repubs will be in position to deny that. The states in the best shape are all run by Republicans. Do you really want to go there? You are showing you ignorance.

This thread was started by a Troll and is just doing what he does. Trolling with no regards for facts. Typically, I don't participate but this ignorance is too much.

Economic conditions of a state is caused by many things and long term effects can't be changed on a dime. For example, do you remember who was governor of California in the 00's? Of course you are ignoring that point and the state has reboundedunder a Dem since absolutely hitting rock bottom under the Terminator. If you want to review the impact a governor can have on a state in terms of economics, please review Kansas and what has happened there since 2010. While the country has come out of a recession and many states in the Midwest has boomed because of energy, Kansas is now battling Mississippi as the worst state in the union. Oh yeah, who has controlled Mississippi for years upon years.

Your lack of intelligence is truly astounding. Easily the worst run state in the country is Illinois. Both CA and NY are very, very poorly run and have massive unfunded liabilities. The two lowest bond ratings in the country are Illinois and California respectively.

All the states I singled out are run by liberal legislators. Governors have to have the coop of the people. California is run by a bunch of crazies. It has not rebounded as you claim. You will see In the future.

Best thing to ever happen to the GOP
Unless the gOP wins the presidency and keeps congress and undoes all the bad he has done, it is still bad. Maybe irreparable.
