...Mike Anderson is seemingly NOT on the proverbial hot seat at Arkansas.

That’s a very proud program there, and they appear to be getting worse under his watch.

I would love to have a Hog fan come on here and let us know what the feeling around Fayetteville is regarding Anderson.

He's definitely on the hot seat with the fans, not sure about with the administration. His history with the program and the fact that he's clean off the court (no scandals, does a lot in the community, etc.) probably helps him. Plus we have a new AD.

I wouldn't say he's terrible, it's just...meh. He's good enough to make a decent run in the regular season and get a 7-10 seed in the tourney but not much more than that. If he were truly terrible it would be easier to fire him but he does just enough to hang on and have you wanting more. We have the 2nd or 3rd most regular season wins in the SEC in the last 5 years but do nothing in the tournament and we'll make it to the SECCG, but then get blown out.

Our fans are obsessed with Chris Beard since he had that one year at Little Rock but don't see why he would leave Texas Tech at this point unless we just gave him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Arkansas had success pre Richardson, but he took that program to an elite level. They have the capability of becoming relevant again, but Anderson is not the guy. That is very clear by now.

Someone said the other day that if our 1994 team tried to play today, they would all foul out. It's almost like trying to run the wishbone in football today. Just doesn't work unless you have elite athletes.
