My son-in-law went to the OsU school of engineering so we pleasantly (most of the time) battled over whether my granddaughter would be a Sooner or a Cowboy. However, the one thing we all agreed on was that we dislike Texas. When she was 3, one day she heard us talking about the Shorthorns and spontaneously spouted out: "Boo, Tekas!" That has been our family joke since.
