isn't AI great? everyone talking about how they wrote the lyrics and the "feel"...folks, AI is doing that for you 110% and you can do it for free on many platforms literally for free. give it a few words and an idea and bam....words, music, everything....anyone with 1 functioning brain cell can create these songs...try it. it's easy and free for everyone.

Go ahead and try to make a good one about Kentucky basketball that sounds good and has a meaningful message throughout without serious errors:

Go ahead, I’ll give you a link and let you try.

By the way, this is what AI songs sound like if you tell it you want an “optimistic 90s classic country song about Mark Pope succeeding as Kentucky basketball coach despite early trouble”:

In short — awful.

Put up or shut up.

If you want AI music to be good, it helps to have music knowledge. I have written and performed songs for over 15 years (not pretending I’m the best ever but still.) Anyone can do it — but like anything else AI — it’s very useful in the right hands. Easy to dunk on someone else all the time. Your M.O.

I bet you've never actually performed or played music in front of hundreds or thousands of people like i have. but you're the best | you're M.O.

I have in front of hundreds, not thousands. Again, make a good song with it and let’s see what you have.

Btw I don’t think anyone think it takes remotely a percentage of talent that writing well over 200 songs like I’ve done — the point is you’re being dismissive of others — let’s see you do better with it. I’ll be waiting.

(I’ll add — completely understand people being ethically opposed to it. That’s fair. The point is being dismissive to others.)

ooooo, a nerve has been struck...nice. aren't you just a special kinda something. the age old, "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME AND HOW GREAT I WAS!" pat yourself on the back for producing a fake song buddy. why don't you record something of yourself playing an instrument since you are so brilliant lol. i bet you can barely pick your nose on a guitar.

I don’t have to prove anything to you. The onus is on you to prove what you said.

I’ll just say this — in my experience of writing music, of course understanding rhyme schemes are massive to making a good, catchy song. Having knowledge of which vowels sound best in certain parts of a melody is key, etc. These things are very helpful when crafting songs, whether you write them a Seagull guitar (my preferred brand) or whether you are using software. You don’t have to always be a douche to others for no reason. If you wanna be, fine, back yourself up. I’ll give you a link and see what you can make.

anyone that plays lead can obviously play bass. singing is easy. how long would it take you to learn and play easily "Enter SandMan" by Metallica on guitar and play it accurately in front of thousands of people?
Not long. Enter Sandman would only be difficult if I was being asked to play the rhythm and sing it at the same time like Hetfield. I don’t have the ability to do that. I’m a singer/songwriter who does more folk/indie/rock style music with frequent tempo changes and unique arrangements. Playing Metallica is totally different than what I create.

you probably put "reality" on ignore as well.
The reality is you came on here to make fun of people for a fun contribution to the site and have yet to demonstrate you can create something better. (And it was clearly directed at me since you used my exact words — cowardly to not just say it directly to me.) Most of your posts are almost impossible to comprehend due to the bad grammar and syntax and yet I’m supposed to assume you’re able to tell a coherent story using any medium at all?

rock style? like metallica? ok lets soften it up a bit. how about playing Motely Crue "Home Sweet Home". how difficult would that be for you to learn on guitar or this thing called "rhythm guitar" ?

your grammar is eloquent. i write software in more languages than you can even speak of. Keep being a fly by night AI song writer.

You’re talking a genre that isn’t in my bag. I could learn it but it’s not going to be the same as if I were playing something like Coldplay, The Arctic Monkeys, radiohead, etc. I prefer writing my own music, not playing someone else’s anyway. Most of the time when I learn new songs, I don’t use tabs or sheet music. I prefer to do it organically by intentionally not playing it how the original artist does. I will intentionally use inverted chords and so on — I have more a jazz-oriented and jam-oriented organic approach. I can learn someone else’s crap but I don’t find that enjoyable

By the way, I have system for that I use to develop better ears for melody and learn the songs faster

And by the way, most of those classic rock bands songs are mostly just power chords for the rhythm parts. Not trying to be a jerk, but a lot that is the same recycled crap. Playing power chords on an electric guitar isn’t difficult

I don’t know what to tell you. Cool, I guess. You’ve still not responded to the original point. Can you create a good AI song with a coherent message about Kentucky basketball that serves a level of entertainment beyond what I did or not?

hahaha. knowing the songs and being able to play those power chords then pulling off a badass lead LIVE under pressure is a different thing....it's easy to talk about it behind a mic or a "type type type type type" thing.

I’ve performed plenty of songs in public like that. It’s not my proudest time. When I was first learning to write, some of my early songs were power chord anthems and it wasn’t hard. Lol.

You went on about how easy it was and then acknowledged you can’t. You’re ridiculous. And to think you were acknowledging how you were a Christian the other day — do you think Christ isn’t aware of how disgusting it is to be a hateful person online to people for no reason? Do you think either of us are going to stand in judgment and get a pass because it was “good fun.” You need to think about that OleTiredBum instead of trying to figure out to be superior in online arguments that mean nothing.

What does Christ say about lying? It’s hilarious how fake you are.

Ok I misunderstood. I guess I can assume your constant need to troll message boards at your advanced age rather than prioritizing more helpful endeavors may sadly be the byproduct of a meaningless and sad existence brought about by the existential realities of hopelessness that accompany nihilism.

I hope you do better and strive for better.

Says not to, which is why I source most of my opinions unlike you
You source your opinions to other men who you are submissive to to because you’re too dumb to think for yourself. You don’t source your opinions to facts or verifiable evidence. You just go with your agenda and lie because you’re a complete fraud. There’s nothing Christian about you, you’re a typical hate filled lowlife fraud.
