Beating a horrible team giving up almost 50 points should give them confidence. Really. You believe this crap.

Racking up 700 yards of offense and 62 points while holding the other team to 7 points, 100 yards with multiple turnovers in the second half should absolutely give them confidence.

We've played a lot of horrible teams over the years and haven't done either of the above. The players should enjoy it and build towards a winnable South Carolina game.

Yeah of course they should enjoy the win but you gain true confidence by beating good teams. If they beat a high school team 100 points would should that give them confidence? If so its a false sense of confidence.

Bottom line we beat an bad team but let them score 42 dam points.

Confidence at our stage of development has little to do with it. Good fundamentals is what they lack.

Offense should be confident. Defense should be embarrassed. Stoops should just be embarrassed to show his face in public period at this point.

This win in no way should give anyone any confidence...total fools gold

If confidence is only gained the way you say it is, we don't have much hope as that would involve beating Bama, Tennessee or Louisville at this point.

This team has been embarrassed since last November. This team has looked terrible defensively but managed to get it together for a solid second half against NMSU. They're playing another bad offense next week. Fact is they finally have something to build on and hopefully that carries over to next week.
