Here here!! I've watched the last minute of the game every day this week and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!!
All things considered , it really couldn't have played out any better. Check it out....unx is enduring another year under a scandal-plagued sky. In typical brazen , "just-win-baby" tarhole fashion , they extend the investigative process for one more shot at a title before sanctions. Despite some mid-season ups-n-downs , they (finally!) beat Duke and the ol' obnoxious swagger comes outta hiding. The tarhole nation goes into full-on "chest-pumpin' sheet-talkin' mode...again. The holes put it together and start playing their best ball of the year. They steamroll virtually unchallenged thru an easy , upset-laden regional. All that's left is to polish off some wannabe and Roy hangs another banner , Johnny T-Shirt stays packed and the ends justify the means. Instead , Villanova gets all up in that azz , Paige hits a miracle "It must be destiny" shot then unx has their hearts ripped out an' shown to 'em on a last-second trey that will live in March Madness history. It was a moment , btw , that tarholes everywhere will have to visually relive again and again every post-season. They thought they hated seein' Laettner every promo? Just wait. Lulz.
Yes and even though the scandal wasn't talked about as much as I had hoped, there was still a lot more light cast on it as a result of them making it to the championship than if they hadn't.
And to think, if they hadn't tried to buy themselves more time and another shot at a title by self-reporting more infractions and purposely delaying the NCAA ruling, maybe they wouldn't have to forever endure the pain of seeing their hearts ripped out over and over and over again. Karma? Karma.
And, while we don't know what the new notice of allegations will include, I wonder if any of the new damning evidence that Kane unearthed compounds UNC's problems. Could make the revised NOA a lot, lot worse.
Exactly. They put all their eggs in the 2016 basket with that move IMO. This was the year to get it done.
Once that petition makes its way to the NCAA, we won't be laughing. The game will be over turned and given to UNC
I'm probably the most pleased about college basketball since last year at this time.
Like I said in another thread. It almost feels like we just went back to back. It feels that good.

Right? I mean we all want Duke to win every year, but there is just something special about seeing uNC lose that way that makes up for Duke not winning it.
They had more than just their hearts ripped out. They also had their nads crushed.
