I would say Daniel Harper, who has done pretty well this season, would be the Saturday guy, after that who knows !
I think they will go after some JUCO guys. I also see improvement in Hazelwood and Ramsey. I don't know if Haake is coming back or not. We'll be ok.
Also will have Andrew Miller, who is sitting out after transferring from Maryland, and Ben Jordan who was a Big time prospect, but had Tommy John surgery.
He had surgery during his senior season in HS, he has sat out this year, he is bound to be ready by next season.
You do know about our training staff?? See Dorian Baker Vanderbilt Baker etc etc
He is already throwing, and should be ready to go. Cannot compare Baker (football), and Vanderbilt (basketball) injuries to Jordan's, Apples to Oranges.
The beauty of it is we were saying the same thing about the offense in Minge's first season, and to some extent again entering this season. Guys tend to develop. I think they'll find some help, too, via recruiting. There's a lot to sell a young guy who wants to come in and make an immediate impact.
Sat with him and Lockhart at regionals last year and he said he was doing great. He's a big kid and hope he's a good good prospect.
The plan for Ben is to be pitching in Summer league. Barring something unforeseen, he will pitch next season.
