I don't think it is fair to say we can't shoot but we are definitely streaky. As such, you are correct in saying teams who sit in a zone could make it hard for RU on many nights.

We are not a good shooting team. With that being said, we are much bigger and on the nights the shots are falling we will beat some good teams.

In the 1 or 2 games he faced vs real competition he did indeed struggle. I still think he can be effective but just don't expect him carry us offensively.

Like I heard the ESPN game announcer say last year. " Sometimes, it's this simple, the team that makes it's open shots normally wins".

Every team gets open shots.....you just have to make them. Can Williams and Thiam be our shooters in the 40% plus range for 3 pointers? For comparison purposes, Byrn Forbes from MSU shot 48% last year to lead the Big 10.

It was only one game but i kinda like the makeup of this team. The additions all bring something new and the returning pieces look wven better with the proper conditioning.
