But they went 8-2 in their last 10 games.. UNC is so worthy.
. Watching that game last night was annoying. UNC sucks and of course they match up with one of the most god awful offensive teams in Div 1. SDSU was hard to watch on offense. It was like they run their offense to not get a good shot.On top of that UNC made a season high 14 3’s. I want ole Miss to beat them by 30.
Still 1-14 in Quad 1 wins. SDS was a Quad 2.
They kept blowing about their Quad 2 wins but failed to mention that 1/2 of them were by 2 points or less. So not only did they lose to good to great teams but struggled to even beat decent teams.
That's exactly right, it's still a crappy win. It proved nothing except maybe that San Diego State was trash.
You guys know how this works out. Last team in goes on a majestic run, at least makes the sweet 16.

The Cheats have heard from everybody that they didn't belong. They are using this as motivation and playing inspired ball. Ole Miss better bring it.

Fools gold for UNC. SDS not that good and had a bad night to boot. Never seen a team that unprepared to play. Will make the next game for the heels that much harder when the competition level goes up 4 times. Like hitting a wedge from the fairway with no wind vs. a 4 iron from the deep rough into a 15 mph wind the next. Same swing different result.

I think unc rolls in that one... as a betting man anyway, honestly haven't been that impressed by ole miss all year, surprising they kicked our *** so hard.
I'd definitely go with the SEC in this one. However bad you think Ole Miss was, they finished with the same conference record as we did. The ACC was absolutely terrible this year.

And why is the game on Friday? I thought the teams that played on Tuesday generally played Thursday. Another Bubba special for a day of extra rest for unc?

Conference bias aside, unc came out pissed off and absolutely raped san Diego st last night. The media has been talking up the sec and how unc doesn't deserve to be in. UNC is still getting top recruits... hearing in the media all week long they don't belong has them fired up and on a mission, we saw that last night. I like unc to roll through the first weekend. Ole Miss is pretty good but no world beaters.
Live by a rule of thumb--never trust the Mississippi schools in the NCAA Tournament. I want Ole Miss to win that game, but have 0 faith. They play like they are drunk too often, I.E. the Arkansas win in the SEC Tournament. Last 2 mins of the Half-they could be up 18 if they make a shot and look up and they are up 8 and need a buzzer beater to win. That's type of crap that won't beat Carolina.
Mississippi State has a chance now point shaving Tolu Smith is gone-but until a Chris Jans team shows up from tipoff looking like they give a damn about being in the NCAA Tournament, can't trust them.
Difference is that if Miss St wins-have them losing to Duke anyways--so not picking them doesn't matter where Ole Miss is type that if they could beat UNC, they could upset Iowa St in 2nd Round.

UNC went 13-7 in the ACC. Certainly, they aren't world beaters either.
Cheats have to shoot lights out to have any chance vs a good team. Very unlikely they don’t go 14-24 from 3pt vs Ole Miss

UNC deserved to get in? They didn't deserve to get in based on any measurable metric. It was a good ole boy vote that got them in.
#26 in the RPI and #36 in NET. Ahead of Arkansas, Texas, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma in both. Also eye test says they would beat Arkansas, Vanderbilt and probably Texas.
They also had a quad 3 loss . I’m betting not many “at large “ bid teams had quad 3 losses .
This has never happened.

If Ole Miss doesn’t beat them i have a feeling UNC goes to the Elite 8.
I think Jaemyn Brakefield is going to be a serious problem for UNC
