I realize we all love tortilla chips with our salsa.....

.....but give me a bag of Fritos (especially the Scoops) like we used to eat when we were kids before Doritos were in wide national distribution and I'd honestly never need another tortilla chip again.

Pricey to be sure; but an incredibly underrated snack in this world of a zillion snack chip brands.

I love Fritos as well. The scoops are great for crushing in chili, scooping chili, scooping sour cream and onion dip. The regular Fritos are great all around just to snack on.

For what its worth I also really enjoy the chili cheese fritos.

Actually, I haven't had that chili variety yet......but I do buy the Honey BBQ twists (my daughter, in particular, loves them) when they're marked down on special.

None of those things in a bag come even close to freshly made tortilla chips, and they are ridiculously easy to make. A deep frier, a bag of corn tortillas, a pizza wheel and some salt.
