It was going to be tough with ALL of the players Coach Pope brought in, but with 3 of them hobbled or completely out for half the season, it has been EXTREMELY tough for this team to compete against top teams.

Really a shame Pope’s first season has turned out this way. Depressing to be entering the tourney knowing we have a Sweet 16 ceiling because we are devastated by injuries.

The way this roster was constructed it could handle the loss of Kerr. But for the most part, losing 3-4 of their 5-6 best players is not recoverable against elite competition.
