Diving, huh? Duke's Nick McCrory has very recently won 4, yes four, national championships in platform diving.

It's funny how they got their own special when they didn't really accomplish anything…other than judging other people and having massive inferiority complexes. I love how Brian Davis explained it during the Laettner special: "I was more hood and street than any of those mother f#$kers. They all wanted to go to Duke…Chris Webber visited and stayed with me."

You heard it here first: Duke will LOSE on Saturday.

Men's swimming?

Diving?

Ice hockey?

This is what we deal with in the state of Michigan. It will always be about their "rich and storied" history rather than the here and now.

Michigan has won one football national championship in 65+ years & one hoops national championship in 100+ years. So how are they an elite athletic school?

Ohio State has been kicking their tail in football for 15 years but getting Harbaugh trumps the title OSU just won in January. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.
They will point to their claim to fame: Most wins in college football history. Nevermind the fact that a majority of those wins came in the early1900s when games were basically played in sweats and t-shirts, and players were a foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter than they are today.

Also, make sure to remind them that their beloved "winged helmet" was originated at Princeton and adopted by UM when they hired former Princeton coach Fritz Crisler.

Most wins in college football history which led to one split national title over past 65+ years. That sure is something to hang to your hat on. I love college football history but Michigan hasn't been a an elite program in a long time. Georgia Tech has won the same amount of football titles(ONE) as Mich in last 60 years.

I'd be mad at the world too if i lived that far north and inland. Don't worry, Spring is right around the corner in your neck of the woods, June is almost here.

Lucky SOB. I am playing my first round on Friday but have to travel an hour to do so. We still have a foot of snow on the ground in where my club is in northern CT. With no true warm weather in sight (it has been below freezing almost every night this month, which is rare around here), the misery continues.

Hit em well buddy! : )

Actually was looking at a job in St. Peter. I noticed the weather has been mild lately.

Wow!! How in the hell will Duke survive now? Losing your support will be a tremendous blow to the teams confidence to say the least. Speaking of saying the least, you should.

Nine pars and nine bogeys for an 80, Denn. I'll take it for this time of year. I know it's not your standard, but as a 9-handicap chop I'll take in March.

St. Peter, DD? I'm curious what you'd be doing there? Something to do with the school (college) I assume. I'm about an hour from there.
