He was walking down the street which was odd but he definitely looked like he had an extra spring in his step.

West, which is another Holton type player, to go along with Ahmad, Bolden, and Meyers. I've not seen such a collection of legit talent top to bottom at WVU.

Add to that walk ons that can give a couple minutes or actual production.

I am hype about BB season and its only May.

How long did it take you to reel in that monster in your profile picture?

Not as long as you would think. 7 weight rod with a fluorocarbon 1X tippet twitching a olive bead head woolybugger took 10 minutes with a good net man. 35 inches 15.8 pounds.

I have no idea what this means....am I alone here? What ever happened to a stick, string, hook, and worm?

7 weight refers to the size of the rod and the size of the fly line.
1 x tippet refers to the size of the line connected to the flyline
fluorocarbon refers to the material the tippet is made from.
And this is a beads head olive woolybugger

Nice, once watched a show on fly tying and was amazed at how intricate and detailed it was. Me?.....I just need a bobber

To me, there is nothing more satisfying than taking fish on flies or streamers you tie yourself. I have caught 10 pound fish on flies that I have tied all the way down to a size 24 brassy.
these are hook sizes:

Btw, my most productive flies are not usually the most intricate ones. Here is a steelhead fly called a sucker spawn that is nothing but a little soft yarn and its deadly in Erie tributaries.

the only materials here is soft white tying yarn and Chinese red thread number 5.
you can add some tail material like sparkle or flashing but I like to add some teased up thread to imitate blood.

All we talked about was Ahmad before and now we have others to be excited about. Good things are about to happen in Morgantown.
