I understand you brother. Hard-core fans post in the moment, which is the "knee jerk" reactions that that we are talking about. That doesn't mean those guys aren't hard-core fans, because they are. I promise I'm not trying to talk ****. It's just that all the emotions expressed by fans are mostly pointless. All they see is what they see. **** happens. A game is 40 minutes, bad and good happens and regular fans don't understand the bigger picture so they cry on social media until their team wins, but how many times would their team get their asses beat if they listened to the posters on the internet? If we are being honest , the random posters crying online would get their teams asses beat if the coach did what those fans said they should do. I'll be honest I don't care much about this messege board stuff, so if I have some typos or what not my fault. I'm also about to go to sleep.

Man when I watch the game and post it makes my experience so much better personally. This is like my basketball family lol. I want the crazy reactions. I want to read the most ridiculous stuff possible. I want to laugh. See if others are seeing the same thing that I’m seeing during the game.
I talk bad about Pope as a coach. I love the guy and want him to succeed but you more than likely will catch me calling him and a couple the players a puss sometimes. I want all of them to win when it’s said and done.
Jordan is a billionaire because he was smart enough to make money after basketball using his name and image. He's an amazing basketball player who turned that into billionaires of dollars because he has a decent brain on his shoulders. Yes he did his winning, but my post wasn't about that, it was clearly about the fact that even arguably the best to ever do it, still doesn't know what he sees. I only said that because it was stated that even former players are saying things. Those players complaining doesn't mean their opinions are more validated. To prove that I mentioned Michael jordan being a bad evaluator of talent due to him making terrible dfat picks. So to your post yes he did his winnings, on the court, doesn't mean he's right about everything, same as former players

I respect your opinion and I see where you are coming from brother. I love it. You're one of the reasons why our fanbase drags our nuts across the faces of every other team out there. All I'm saying is that the posts on social media and messege boards deserves criticism because if they turn out to be right they will let the world know they were right, the less than 10% of the time that they are. So it's only right they get criticized when they are wrong. I just wished fans could fully understand how easy it is to watch a team or coach and criticize something but know full and well that they couldn't come close themselves
See now I gotta disagree there. I went to the Gonzaga game. I would rather be an all positive guy when it’s Kentucky because I care like any good ol fan but what I seen that night was AWFUL. I wasn’t a high caliber player but I would kill all the locals type of thing and I promise you I could have gave more than they gave in that game. Something seriously happened that we may never know what it was but that was pitiful.
Maybe that’s when I started to get disrespectful toward this team and Pope admittedly I’ve been a shi tty fan I guess you could call it. I don’t want to be but that effort was unacceptable for any Kentucky team idc if it’s a Billy G team that’s on Probation with only three scholarships allowed.
They are starting to come around and I’m glad. I would rather say Johnson for threeee or Oweh with the dunk! But if they are being some selfish pansies crying and clearly having some off court issues getting beat by 35 which was the worst of my lifetime that I remember… I’m gonna call them some bad things and be pissed off as a fan. Not in real life. But I can come on here and be a ****** knee jerk fan and bust my load off.

Now with that said I fully expect to be unprepared several more games and get blown off the court several more times this year and I’m sure I’ll have some bad things to say then also. I can't say that I firmly disagree. They don't hate UK and they want the best for us, just like me and you. I won't lump every player that we've ever had into to one person, group, or whatever. We've had a lot of former players, hypothetically if 5% post something negative, that just might be 100% percent that you see. Most others could disagree but it may be something they don't care to defend or post about so you don't see their opinions. People, even former players are still human, they overreact to bad teams, same as when a team has a chance to do something great, former players talk about how they're winning it all.
I'm not exactly sure what part you disagree with. But yeah we sucked against gonzaga. Sometimes a team sucks so bad that the complaining from fans is completely justified. The thing is, is that most of those fans who criticized that game most likely criticizes games that we won, games that if we listened to them we would lose. Ultimately, if there are fans out there who criticizes the gonzaga game this year but also didn't criticize the gonzaga and duke game last year i will hear them out. But the same coaching that beat them and duke last year is the same coaching we have this year. I don't know if I've fully made my point but I do know that their isnt a coach, including hall of famers that wouldn't be criticized in the moment, by rupp rafters posters. Even if their (hall of fame coaches) same strategy wins them multiple titles.

I know if they play at full speed all those players would beat me 100 to nothing. But the Gonzaga game I would have gave them a run for their money. That effort wasn’t acceptable and it made me get kind of sour on them fast.

I stand by my realist comments of getting down double digits. Someone posted 9 of 11 legit teams it's happened this season. You aren't winning anything that matters if that continues.

Apparently, according to you, there shouldn’t be a game thread and everybody should just wait until after the game to provide their opinion. If you have any negative emotion during a poor stretch of the game, you’re a “troll”. Yah, ok buddy. What moron has time to click through 33 pages of posts AFTER the game is over and make holier than thou comments implying that good fans knew all along we would win. That is a new kind of stupid. If we lose the next game because we can’t fight our way back from 18 points down, what are you going to say then? Posting about poor play is a normal thing. Kentucky has looked like absolute trash A LOT this year.

The real hardcore fans were still watching after that first half. It wasn't an easy first half to sit through. If we are capable of the second half type performances in the past two games, we are capable of playing better in the first half too. The buzzer beater against LSU and beating UT at home are definitely season highlights for me.
