Has there been any consideration in Congress to make 9/11 'Towers Day' or something like that, i.e., a federal holiday? Sure seems like we should do so since Juneteenth is now a federal holiday and I'm guessing a significantly higher number of people would know what 9/11 symbolizes vs what Juneteenth does. Not saying Juneteenth shouldn't be a holiday but am saying that 9/11 should definitely be one, also.
I enjoy a day off as much as the next guy, but Pearl Harbor day isn't a holiday so neither should this day be.

I agree. It would probably be more for government employees mostly but perhaps some other employers might include them.
Where I work we get everything pretty much so I'd take more days off.
I could get on board with December 7 being a holiday, also. Pretty similar events if you really look at it.
Blaming the Jews for 9/11 (a ridiculously inaccurate and antiemetic statement) makes holding the ADL accountable for their recent ******** (pressuring advertisers to back off of Twitter when Elon took over) much more difficult.
Personally I don't think any attack or tragedy should qualify as a "holiday" for Americans. Juneteenth is about the ending of slavery. I've never once tied the events of 9/11 to the idea that maybe we should get every Sept. 11 off work. Besides, we just had Labor Day last week.
Especially since it was the freemasons using holograms instead of planes for some reason
This is a conspiracy I just don't get. OBL orchestrated the attack on 9/11. Thousands of innocent Americans died. It was one of, if not the darkest days we've unfortunately had on US soil. It changed how we travel, how we secure buildings, obviously some really over-reaching, terrible legislation came from it but it happened and it's an affront to people most affected by it when others minimize it as a government operation.
The conspiracy theories have been debunked. Uncontrollable fires + low water pressure + plus the unique construction of WTC7 was the culprit—all started when a chunk of one of the towers hit it on the way down.
We had a president who couldn't hide that he got blow job...you actually think they could hide this? The number of people that would be involved...none of the 1000s of people who worked in building 7 ever noticed ppl rigging it up? It would've been much easier to just blow the wtc up, why all the theatrics with planes. Were the airlines in on it to? Just stupidity.
My favorite is.."steel beams don't melt"....who says they have to melt? Do welders shape things by melting it...you just need enough heat to weaken it.
Why wasn't Obama in the Oval Office on 9/11? Why didn't the holes in the WTC look like giant cartoon cutouts of planes? Why is it that when I watch incredibly compressed video on Youtube thats a 19th generation copy of a video some random guy in NYC that was filming on his baked potato, it sorta looks like something weird happened may have happened with the nose of the plane?
Because it happened 7 years before he was elected president. A pretty good excuse, if you ask me.

I know this is a forum for political agendas and view. I sure do not wish to be involved in too many of those. However the fact that you say you had kinda forgot about this anniversary - as well as so many more who have forgotten and those too young to remember or hadn't been born - is a very big part of the trouble and strife that this country faces today.
Every year I get sucked in to all the stories and docs of all the chaos and things that were going on. From the flights, the jumpers, the first responders, phone calls, the rescues, and the heros, etc. Just so many stories.

I just reckon I didn’t know anybody even remotely involved or affected in any way by what happened so I never really felt it much except for watching stories and documentaries and stuff. I’ve never been to NYC to see the monument. Whole thing is kinda like a just a story to me. I don’t ever think about it.

I build steel buildings for a living. The steel on the towers succumbed to the heat of the fire. The towers were built using outdated fire protection. My question is this about all planes then and now. The National Transportation Board suggested that adding a chemical to all aircraft fuel that if a tank ruptured the fuel would turn to foam. This would add approximately twelve dollars per ticket to implement ? I personally would want this considering most plane accidents result in death by fire. There are certain things that are unexplainable ! The U.S. military has developed parachutes that allow them to drop a 70 ton tank from a C 140 ! Why couldn’t planes be outfitted to have those same chutes in case of engine failure ? Way more questions than answers huh ?

Let’s assume for a minute that those towel heads could have actually pulled off that descent in a commercial airliner and somehow no jets were scrambled in time to intercept (interesting time for a training exercise hundreds of miles away)
We lost many more Americans in the Middle East looking for weapons that didn’t exist. We were killing some of the poorest people in the world in their home
