I (thanks to the docs & the hospital) screwed up. He told me I would feel 100% better almost immediately. So I had the procedure on 12/28 & expected to go home by New Years and have Outpatient therapy after the holiday. (they even had that all scheduled that way). Unfortunately neither me nor they predicted by 12/30, in time to get insurance approval for extra, inpatient care until After New Years. I watched the game with a few family & friend in the family lounge Tuesday night and FINALLY got approval from the damned insurance folks to get Skilled therapy from this new facility close to home where I am stuck for awhile anyway. Its not a hospital but the next step down from that called "Care Initiatives"

Thanks for the card Senior; it lifts my spirits as much as a Sooner Victory !

Rules were Made to be broken, ia...Just DO it! The important thing is that YOU are on the Mend, as well as on the Road to Recovery...Don't Push the River...It flows by itself...Put yourself in Time Out, and use the Down Time to play Catch-Up!

That depends on how many fingers you have...
Number of fingers is a limiting factor? Sheesh. You must be old. These days the only limiting factor is your imagination. You got toes, a nose, ears, eye lids, a mouth, elbows and knees, some nipples, fat rolls, etc. If you truly run out, that level of talent will cause a decent line to have formed. A master level tip though... If you give out numbers to folks in line, make sure they are all the same number. You know, so when you call out "Now servicing number 12," the influx is overwhelming.

iasooner also has a walker to throw in the mix...

I've know of a lot of weird issues with medical insurance but never coverage issues based on the change from one year to another. Sorry that it caused you aggravation but so glad you are doing better. Keep working on your recovery and post often. BOOMER!

bama it was a matter pf timing; no one thought to get me pre-approved for any skilled rehab and we lost 4 days because of the long weekend to the holiday (Sat-Tues last) waiting.

Well, that sucks. Just a little set back, so just get well and you will forget it even happened. Tell them to watch it for now on. ;)
