IC Expansion?

No apparent talk of a on campus football stadium () but looks like IC is indeed expanding into the adjacent Methodist Church site. I had brought this up semi jokingly in season, but can't remember thread now. Wonder how this impacts their enrollment and athletics though.

Great to see progress like this going on. Will surely help them attract more families to IC who already have a great product.

They do not want to be success factored in wrestling, so their conclusion is to disband the program? Am I getting that right? Because if that's what you are saying, I do not believe that one bit.

I've followed HS wrestling in IL most my life and IC went from being a relative mediocre program to a State Powerhouse in the last two seasons so I thought it was because they got caught doing something wrong but because they would be moved up is ridiculous. Now there is a very large difference in talent between 2A and 3A in wrestling but to even consider disbanding a program over it is ridiculous.

Even if they did disband the wrestling team, they are moving up to 3a so this is a moot point. The only thing I could possibly think of that could result in this is the connection to club wrestling but I highly highly doubt that they are disbanding.
