Marengo hung in there for the first half, largely due to poor tackling by IC. Basic runs of 3-4 yards turned into 20-30 yards plays. 2nd half: IC makes adjustments and loads 8 in the box. Marengo gets opening kickoff and the runs 3 straight times into the teeth of the 8-man front. Result: 4th and 15 and they punt. That was it. IC’s Kyle Franklin took over, rushing for over 300 yards, most of which was in the second half. He is only a sophomore!!!!
