There's a thread on this board at least once a week regarding the same topic. While I agree fans should enjoy the journey, I don't have an issue with them anticipating and questioning what next year's roster will look like.

Save it for after the season. For Gods sakes, ENJOY the season, especially March

I like the way Cal handles this question:

During the season it's all about the team. After the season it's about the person.

On the morning of an important, historic game no less, is not the time to be talking about NBA or Cal staying or the various anxieties about individual people

To be honest, Matt encourages that crap by talking about it next to the recruiting stuff when he says "If X leaves, then so and so will sign"

You can't have it both ways, unfortunately

I can't imagine a more normal question for a fan to ask. Especially on a message board or to someone with KSR. If you are irritated by the question, fair enough, but the topic is not only expected especially by UK fans, but makes for challenging, rewarding and completely wholesome conversation.

Party On

But it's a question that
1) no one knows the answer to
2) not to ask during March Madness

Ask it on a Thursday during the week. People get sick of it on game day

Jones should tell them that everybody is leaving , if we have to suffer them then at least we could worry them to death .

I'm most frustrated that they waste listeners' time with a stupid question that gets asked multiple times per show. It's like a) Do you seriously think you're the first person to ask that? and b) Do you seriously not listen to any of the questions that get asked before you/on previous shows or are you just so excited to get on the air that you default to dunce mode?

The question is asked because the caller is not imaginative enough to think of something interesting to ask.
