No way. They are looking to make a splash hire. Money is no object. Cadillac may , in fact, be a fine coach, but no way they are rolling the dice on the internal hire. Ole Miss tried that with Matt Luke. He was a graduate of the school, was on staff as an assistant, was promoted to interim head coach after the head coach was forced to resign. Had support of the players, got the team fired up and inspired. They made him head coach because of that and he flopped.
