Speaking of which as Steelers fan I've never been more disappointed in a RB pick who I actually had high hopes for. Looks so indecisive, no ability to avoid or shake anyone. He seemingly just runs right into people.

I don’t put a ton of stock into rookie years. His pass blocking is what he needed to work on. Once he gets into regular carries, the light bulb will click.

10. Its why Will Compton keeps jokingly pitching the Year 10 Will Compton story.

Oh interesting. You know what, I believe the 10 year thing is for the lifetime health care benefits. Kinda lazy too Google it at the moment. I’m sorry. I do know there’s some 10 year benchmark benefit.

Same with health insurance. I think you are right but has been changed to 3 years.

To be fully vested for NFL health insurance, a player needs to be vested for five years, which typically requires three or more credited seasons. This provides five years of extended medical, dental, and vision coverage after retirement through the Continued Veteran (CV) coverage plan.

Vested players
  • Five-year coverage: Eligible, vested players receive free medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage for five years after their career ends.
  • Vested status: A player becomes "vested" after earning a specified number of "credited seasons," which is typically three or more since 1993.
  • Continued coverage: After the five years, players can purchase extended insurance coverage, but it can be expensive.

Oh snap. Well good on the NFL for lowering that.

I disagree completely about the RB position. Of course pass blocking is a big deal and he wasn't good early on. I get that part of it. BUT if you watch him run it's like Stevie Wonder out there lol. Dude runs directly into the backs of OL. Directly into defenders if he does get a hole. Never attempts so shake or fake anyone. Just runs into people and basically tackles himself. It's been a long time since I seen someone I thought would be a really good RB look sooooo bad. I really don't see it with him AT ALL.
