IF I'M BEING HONEST

What I think is overlooked is if Cal leaves 2,3,4 years ago we don't get coach Pope. Would we have got somebody that we would have been as happy with if the change is made earlier? I'm so happy with Pope I can't imagine anybody else working this well. He's everything I want in a man leading our program. Strange how things work out sometimes.

Great point. A couple or three years ago there is no way Pope would have gotten a shot at this job.

I've been keeping an eye on how Pope's teams had been doing for the last three or four years and I had been thinking that he might become the next Kentucky coach. I might have even been hoping that he would. I will admit that I also thought that he would be more ready in another couple of years. I was surprised that it happened this quickly and I am thrilled that it is going so well. He might not have been the first choice but so far it looks like he was the best choice.

Being that your response is past tense, it implies that I am now. Thank You.
Well I don’t know how smart you are on other matters so I cant make a judgment. I was only referring to the subject you posted about, lol .

I’ll not insult your intelligence but I would suggest watching the game again, especially the second half
I'm not sure you actually read my original post (OP), which clearly states CP (Coach Pope) is a "BRILLIANT" coach. I didn't even single out any of the games we played. I've watched all of the games, but I'm assuming you mean the PUKE game. Which was a masterpiece of high-level coaching. Go back and read my OP again. I'm a tad confused by your reply.
