Pope just played horrible line ups
Garrison shouldn’t have played
He puts line ups in that has 3 non shooters
He played Oweh way to much and Jelavic not enough
Williams didn’t get in the first half Jelavic none in 2nd
Pope refuses to use a hard hedge
Just a poor performance from our Head Coach

I agree. I really thought Dioubate would thrive in a game like this. I was impressed with Jelavic, in the few minutes he got. Was hoping he'd provide a much needed spark in the 2nd half. Williams made the most of his time. But like you said, the lineups were puzzling. No cohesion to them. A lot of that had to do with Louisville though.

What it feels like to me is a continuation of last year where he would randomly get out coached and we would drop a game we shouldn’t. Last season was just a continuation of his tenure at BYU. What he did at byu ain’t gonna cut it here.

I agree with not cutting it here ... he will need some self-reflection, and we'll see if he can adjust. I think he might and hope he can. If he can't, he won't last, sadly. Up to now, he's certainly talked the talk and he's nobody's dummy. Should be interesting to watch.

Honestly, I was able to watch about 5 minutes of the game. Was in travel for work. That said, this is mid November, we have a ton of growing up as a team to do. I like our pieces and trust Pope will get us there. I’ll gladly give them a November game for a March game, I like our pieces, they just need some time to gel. Hate losing to UL but I think our ceiling is much higher than theirs. And remember. Our potential best player is yet to play. We are in good shape. They won their Super Bowl, in November. I mean honestly, can we call this a rivalry when we have won way more games than they have??

LMAO our ceiling is much higher? The roster is a bunch of "never will be's" and sprinkle in Aberdeen, Diabate, Moreno as serviceable players. JQ and JJ are the talented wildcards, JJ not off to a great start.

You don't think Mikel Brown (what's his ceiling compared to any of our scrubs?) would salivate playing this team again?

We need to lock up Stokes ASAP.
