If Musburger is not the worst announcer..

he is on a very short list of those that are. Geez..it is time for this guy to call it a day and go play checkers in some corner store. He has called SC QB Williams at least 3 times tonight. I remember him being on NFL today when I was kid.He is horrible..and his sidekick Palmer is not much better. With all of the young announcers out there how in the world is this guy still able to get game assignments?

He's clearly on the tail end of his career. I never saw him as a great announcer but he's clearly falling off.

Did we kick his dog or something? Seems he's always finding problems with our team even when we're doing well

Him and Verne need to retire. Been saying it for several years. They can't keep up anymore, get names wrong consistently, talk about irrelevant stuff way too much, and pretty much put me to sleep

I could understand Corso giving us a hard time since he coached at rival schools, but I don't know what is Musberger's problem. He always seems to cheer on the other team or act disinterested in our game. Then he throws out the basketball school crap at us. Hopefully they get rid of him soon.

Musburger, Lundquist, Vitale, Corso and a few others have over stayed their welcome. Kinda like a bad relative around the Holidays, you can't wait until they are gone. Speaking of Corso, his sideshow with putting on the team's headgear has worn thin as well. He is a clown and he is paired with one of the best in the business in Herbstreit, who probably deep down feels the same way..

Unfortunately, I've been able to watch him since the time he was younger and I've never cared for the guy as a sports announcer. Not sure how he ever got to be as big as he did because I just don't put him up there with any of the all time greats. Yet, here he still is after all these years and still gets decent games to call. He must have known someone at sometime in his life.

He has a very good voice. That counts for a lot in his field. Unfortunately, he gets increasingly less effective in knowing what he is talking about.

Funny, because I actually find his voice annoying. I guess everyone has different tastes.

Not really a fan of either. Thought Jesse's best work to date was his commercial with Larry Culpepper

Ice cold Dr. Pepper here!

I remember when Musberger came up in the early '70's. Lot of talk about how he used politics to get such a high position since he pretty much came out of no where. Guy never really had any talent for announcing.

Watching the game tonight I commented that you know you are at the end of your broadcasting career when you keep getting UK football game assignments.

I hated it when he said that he asked Calipari about what was wrong with the football team and he said that Calipari answered: You can't dribble a football. Then started laughing. He sucks for bringing that up and Calipari sucks if that's what he said.

Sadly, most of the more youthful announcers have over stayed their welcome too, as the good ones are far and few between nowadays.

I like Palmer but Brett taking shots about dribbling a football etc. Im so sick of the preception Kentucky fans do not care about football. We just dumped 45,000,000$ into the Football program. I am so sick of that ****. Then Corso in a whiny voice say when does basketball season start. I want to punch them both in the face!!
