A two loss team does not deserve to be anywhere near the top 4.

And Oregon, with their 8-3 record and ranked #17, I am not sure why you even posted this.

this would be a nice year to have eight teams...it would be a nightmare if the BCS was still in place and only two teams get in.

If anything, I'd say the opposite about the BCS.

The playoff committee has been very consistent with Clemson and Alabama at #1 and #2 since the LSU game. The human polls are now in line with that as well, and there is also a strong consensus in the old BCS computers that those are the top 2 teams.

What controversy exists at the moment all seems to lie from #3 on downward. The path would be pretty clear at this point under the old format.

The human polls mimic the playoff committee rankings because the writers and coaches don't want to look out of sync with the playoff committee. They know, and we know, that the AP and coaches polls don't matter. What the playoff committee decides is what counts. And unbeaten Clemson and Iowa below in the top 4 ... today. After Dec. 5, we'll see.

My GUESS is the 4 teams will be the ACC champ, the Big 12 champ, the Big 10 champ and the SEC champ. It's the Pac-12's turn to be left out. Oregon isn't going to be anywhere near the national playoffs.

Most likely, then, will be Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan State and Alabama. Pretty impressive lineup, I'd say. And great to draw eyeballs to TV.

I'll be in Mountaineer Field as usual for the most important game of the day to me, Iowa State vs. my alma mater.

M ighty defense throttled Georgia Southern, 44-0

O utstanding defense obliterated Liberty, 41-17

U nilaterally decimated Maryland, 45-6, on defense and offense

N oxious offense & special teams against Oklahoma, 44-24

T urnovers lose to Oklahoma State, 33-26 in OT despite impressive comeback from 15-point deficit.

A wesome Baylor too much, 62-38.

I ncinerated by TCU, 40-10. Way too many mistakes, penalties, dropped passes.

N ifty rushing, defense take down Texas Tech, 31-26

E xcellent turnovers by defense against Texas, 38-20

E rectile dysfunctioned Kansas, 49-0

R oll past Iowa State

S lap down Kansas State

"A stalking moron" for laughing at the idiot who thinks a 2 loss team should be in the top 4? Lmao at you as well!!! What an idiot.
He made a statement.......and if you actually watch football and can tell a good team from a bad one then you could admit that based on last 5 weeks or so that the Ducks have been a top 4 team!!!

oh please lol. If I "actually watch football". Funny since you were of those thinking the big east was on par with the big 12 lol. No 2 loss team deserves to be top 4 lol
