If UVA drops to UNC could they be our 2 seed?

UK is going to get either Wisconsin or UVA...unless Nova loses in their tourney as well. Then I think UVA stays on the one line.

And UNC will probably choke tonight, and I think if UVA wins tonight they are a 1 no matter what.

Nope. In UK's region due to Cleveland being closer to UVA's campus than Syracuse.

Plus, Duke will be the #2 1 seed in the East if UVA loses. No way Nova jumps over Duke to get it.

I think your right, but it's worth a discussion while we await the next game.

There are two 29-3 2 seeds. Whisky has the same number of top 50 wins, higher RPI, and SOS.

if VA loses tonight they should be a #2 and Wisconsin the #1 and its based on what their numbers will look like. I think then Wisconsin would have the better RPI and SOS ...

If UVA loses tonight, then they deserve to be a 2 seed. They have Anderson back, and the numbers would favor Wisconsin. Plus, I would rather have UVA.

I agree. I have caught 3-4 of each of UVA and Wisconsin's recent games and IMO wisconsin is playing better. Plus, the only positive for UVA is the their fabled defense, the only problem is their defense is #2 to our defense.

Could being the key word. I think a 2nd loss in 3 games and short of the ACC finals does cost UVa a 1.I'm inclined to think their sending Duke to Houston come hell or high water. Plus I think Villanova is a much more natural fit in the East anyway. They're certainly closer to Syracuse than Duke. If Wisconsin wins the B10T they're the 4th 1, and go to the West to potentially face Arizona as the 2. If the Badger's get beat though Arizona gets the 1 in the West. In the latter case Gonzaga would be a natural fit for the 2, as Wisconsin would in the Midwest, and UVa in the East so Duke get KU as their 2. If Wisconsin wins KU goes to the Midwest as the 2, Gonzaga, to the South with Duke, and UVa to the East with Villanova. So UVa loses, Wisconsin, Villanova, and Arizona win, and it's 'Nova/UVa, Duke/Gonzaga, UK/KU, and Wisconsin/Arizona. I think that would be a pretty good overall seeding job.

If Virginia loses,I think they make Wisconsin a one. Because that way, they can out them in the west and avoid a loaded Midwest.
