Those will be like home games. The 3x rule has been smashed this year across cbb and we whipped UT and home and away we must complete the trifecta adding neutral court to the list. And Houston in Indy? I like our chances. If somehow we can make a run to sweet sixteen. Watch out.

That second game though this weekend if we beat Troy is going to be difficult. There really isn’t any way the bottom part of the bracket could have a Cinderella unless somehow Utah st won a couple. Even if UT lost first round UCLA is there.

Eh...I posted this in another thread a while back, but location and crowd support has little to do with UK advancing.

Generally speaking, UK always has the crowd support at NCAA Tournament games, and generally speaking, are in a solid location. They have lost more often then not.

So while it is good for the fanbase to have a quick road trip, it doesn't seem to have any bearing on UKs performance, historically speaking.

Tennessee is going to be VERY fired up for that game, if it were to happen. There's a reason why it's tough to beat a team 3 times in one season. My only hope is that if the talks are true of Rick Barnes retiring and generally not enjoying this NIL era.. it stands to be reasoned how much he's really locked in this year.

Outside of Purdue making it, Kentucky would have the most fans by far of any other team

I actually probably like our chances to get OUT of the S16 than to get IN to the S16. We are pretty good, but because we have so many 'ifs', we can lose to anyone. So winning the first two will be hard. Now, if we get to Tennessee, even if they are better on paper, all that goes out the window in a bad blood rivalry game. You play those in kinda a vacuum. I like our chances in that game.

Yep. I'm still not over the 1997 title game loss to Arizona. The Hoosier Dome was a sea of blue. The mass exodus of blue was sad.

2018 Atlanta also stands out to me vs. KSU. Gift wrapped path to the FF.

Well, the Bama game in the SECT was a home game for us. And we got run off the court.

Indy has not been kind to UK the last several years. We have lost 4 games in a row there going back to 2017 and 5 of the last 7 in Indy.

Not sure home court advantage matters much unless its not your own arena. We will very lucky to get to the sweet 16...anything after that will be nothing but a pleasant surprise.

Kentucky Free Throws:
9-17

Arizon Free Throws:
34-41

And we only needed one more to go in regulation to win.

Tim Higgins and Teddy Valentine special. Lot of ******** there man. Still pissed about that game.

Nazr 0-6. It was not a pleasant reffed game. I know Bibby and Simon were tough to handle but that is a huge disparity.

Yeah but I don’t think anyone is saying you’re winning just based on that. But we all know home court gets a bump.

In a game vs UT maybe the line is 3 or 4 UT. Having the home advantage bumps that to basically even. Maybe that’s enough.

Plus to me that Bama game wasn’t indicative of much. The late game the night prior combined with injuries coming into the game and then injuries during the game. It is what it is.

I’d rather have the crowd on their side then against them

Then our boy PJ 8-20 in that K State game. Goodness man. Terrible.
I wish I could let losses like these go. I can't. I'm still hurt from 83 vs. UL, 84 vs GT, 92 vs Duke, 93 vs. Michigan, 95 vs UNC, 03 vs. Marq, 04 vs UAB, 05 vs MSU, 10 vs WV, 11 vs UCONN, 14 vs UCONN, 15 Wisc, 17 vs UNC, 18 vs KSU, 19 vs Aub. I guess I need my pain.

I think people underestimate how fired up Kentucky will be in a sweet 16 game

I am interested to see how our whistle goes in the tournament. If it’s an even game called. We did not receive one SEC game where we got an even whistle. It’s truly amazing if you look at our past and count the number of times we were knocked out due to a game like Arizona. , UCONN, and others. Can anyone remember a game we WON with lopsided whistles? Even one?

If we can get through Indy…… playing TN and Houston , two of the best defensive teams in the country. Houston also has very good guards battle tested….

That’s really tough for us to advance, it will take for us to be extremely healthy, focused , multiplayers to execute above their average and lucky…..

Unfortunately, we didn’t get so far all the stars aligned in our favor…

As a rule of thumb we should focus on the first game: Troy. Advanced and survive.
