It wasn't a big game after all
and we didn't win by enough
and we didn't win by enough
I disagree with your last sentence. I would never expect to win a road game against Ohio State, especially when they are (currently) ranked #1.The negativity all stems from our inability to beat OSU; program has a cloud over it. That's why every win feels hollow or not good enough and that's why you see people wanting more signs that point towards us finally getting over that OSU hurdle. Oregon would be a good win, but lose to OSU later in the year and it feels for naught.
I disagree. Beat Oregon and losing to OSU, while it sucks, does not derail team from playoffs. Lose to Oregon. Beating OSU becomes a 100% must. The negativity all stems from our inability to beat OSU; program has a cloud over it. That's why every win feels hollow or not good enough and that's why you see people wanting more signs that point towards us finally getting over that OSU hurdle.
