That’s what everyone else is doing too. I haven’t seen a single example of hoarding anywhere I’ve been. In fact, stores around here are putting a limit on the number of items each person can purchase. I see people being smart in regards to the current situation. We’ll be staying at home distancing ourselves, while people like you will be out shopping every day.
So here is another one!!! How do you know what I'm doing, because you are totally wrong?!!
I'm staying home as much as possible and shopping as needed. As l said, my grandson works at Walmart grocery stocking and he says people have lost their minds...why do you think stores are limiting what people can buy and having to have 3/4 police cars parked in front of their stores? I'm sorry , but this is a common sense thing is it not? Nobody is in need of 15/20 packages of TP and other items.
Like another here, we have a large freezer and have a hog and beef killed once a year and do buy chicken in bulk when we catch sales. So please just stop with something you don't know sh$$ about.

Just got back from a trip to town. Still seeing none of the stuff you’re crying about. Is it happening somewhere? Sure it is. But 99.9% of Americans are shopping the same way we always do. The only difference is more people are shopping at the same time, in order to be prepared. They’re doing the right thing; the intelligent thing. I don’t see a problem with it.

At what point does it go from capitalism to crime? It's morally wrong but she did get it first. Early birds get worms and snoozers lose, right?
I'm not advocating this at all, I'm just being Devil's advocate. It's a freedom vs morality issue.

Would you feel the same if people starting buying up the gasoline or medications in bulk to the point that other people started having difficulty getting those items?

Ok , let's say you think you're right...please tell me why ANY store you go into the shelves are empty. Simply put... you are wrong.

Not possible...gas is cheap and plentiful and who needs gas right now. Medicines can only be bought in three month supplies. I get mine from VA.

We have businesses do this as regular practice, ask any diabetic, but we don't see it happen in the parking lot of the local dollar store. It's a double edged sword- the same laws that would stop this ***** from hoarding are the same emergency declarations that had a whole thread about snatching up your guns.

Because more people are shopping at the same time. Sorry, buddy, but other than a few Facebook memes, I haven’t seen any hoarding taking place.

I have not bought more than 2 weeks worth of groceries. It’s interesting that the hoarders sing the current administrations praises while hoarding food, supplies, and ammunition.
Yes sir...it would be wonderful to have Crazy Bernie or quid pro quo Joe in the WH right now running things.

When the first undocumented California farm worker gets a free Covid19 test, watch out! The same seniors electing people to cut SS and Medicare will be the first to howl.

And you KNOW all these folks who are doing all of these things are strictly POTUS supporters, how? Good grief. Thousands of these gun buyers are first time gun buyers. Statements like this are driven by people's Trump derangement syndrome.

Dude, you are way too ate up with politics to have any clue about reality. I almost feel sorry for people like you.
I feel for folks with head buried in the sand like you! Stop avoiding the question please. Is it because you can't? There are people like you who are STUPID enough to think that in the USA that Trump can become a dictator. Only changing the constitution can bring that about. Check out which party(and I'm assuming it's the one you support) is all in favor of it. GOD bless you friend.

I don’t support either party, because they’re both garbage. I’m a registered Republican, but in my 55 years on this earth, there hasn’t been a single politician, in any office, affect my everyday life in any way. You obviously can’t go one minute of one day without some sort of political thought. People like you are why it’s the same now as it’s always been. Politics as usual! If anything, it’s worse than ever since Trump took over. It’s more politically divided than ever, and will only get worse with that idiot in the WH. But people like you eat it up lol. You should’ve been born in the 1800’s. You’d have fit in perfectly.

LOL, I hate all politicians. Most of what DT has drained is swamp garbage he himself chose to bring in. He keeps firing his own people. The Trump honks are just too brainwashed to admit that. I’m done with you, bro. You just keep on believing all these conspiracy theories Trump plants in your head. He preys on gullible minds like yours.

One of the cashiers at Kroger told me that people are lined up outside before the store opens. When the doors open she said it's a mad rush of people that immediately head to the paper goods and meat departments. She said they literally just come in and sweep everything off the shelves and head to the frozen foods next. I went to two different Kroger stores Friday and there was exactly one bag of frozen vegetables left in the freezer at one and zero at the other. Complete madness.

Slugger you know I have told you, you can’t help the ignorant. Arguing with some in this site is a total waste of time. I have been to 5 stores in the last 2 days and no one has toilet paper. And we are about out. I have seen plenty of this hoarding going on. It’s an absolute joke. I have to figure out where to go to set some TP. It’s really sad.

I went to Costco today at opening time. There was a line outside that was easily 150 yards long. I left rather than stand in that line and came back 1 1/2 hours later and the place was not very crowded at all. The shelves were full and they even had mega packs of toilet paper. The early birds are the nut jobs thinking that they are going to beat everyone else out of something.

Unfortunately we have no shortage of nutjobs and greedy bastards.

He's lying isn't he B63M?
We are both longtime members of this site. I have never had an issue with you (or 99% of the other members here). But, dude, you’re losing your mind about this topic. I clearly stated it’s happening — but not nearly to the degree you suggest it is. Am I supposed to apologize because it’s not happening where I live? For people like you, it’s political. For people like you, everything is political. But you have to realize, for most of us, politics are never even a part of the equation. Politics obviously consume your thoughts 24/7. That’s not how the rest of us live.

I've never said a word about politics sir...my problem is with folks hoarding/buying up everything in sight for no reason! Don't know where you live and l can only go on what I've seen and been told by folks in the industry...sorry l ruffled your feathers. Just pisses me off because people cause a situation that doesn't have to be.
