I have many things that I would change, but my biggest proposal would help us climb to the top of the SEC in terms of caring for football and Gameday Atmosphere. I’ll include a few more things in the list too.

1. Demolish KPP and the Soccer Stadium-

Let’s be real with ourselves, baseball is a dying sport. The demographic that still cares for baseball will be (Sadly) gone in the next few decades. The program is also a financial liability with a few hundred fans who attend sparingly. If it were turned into a club sport, funded by students and their families, nobody would notice.

Soccer, where do I even begin? The decline of American society can be linked to the rise of soccer with our youth. I personally believe it should be banned and sent back to fairy land (Europe) and have it erased from our collective memory. I would immediately move to cancel the sport at the University of Kentucky.

So, I would have the stadiums demolished. That way we would fill them in and level the ground to make it a massive tailgating lot. It would benefit that majority of people and hurt a very (very) small percentage.

2. Give added funds from cancelling those sports to Coach Cal and Stoops for an assistant pool.

Let’s pay our assistants the most in the country. What better way to climb to the top than having the best staff in the land?

3. Allow Alcohol Sales at games.

No brainer. Just more money to add to the pool.

The Johnson Center fields could serve as your massive tailgating lot without plowing $60M worth of facilities that are less than 10 years old (2014 opening for The Bell, 2019 opening for KPP). Just need to install artificial turf.
Where are the Johnson Center fields?

Move KET and LCC. Replace them with more parking and tailgating. Maybe then we can widen the parking spaces and give people a little more room

I quit reading after your first point. You’re clearly desperate for attention.

Alcohol sales for the ridiculously massive revenue stream it opens and tell everyone to kiss my *** and start the football renovations
The bulk of that goes to the company that comes in and provides the service for the stadium. Just for some perspective, BHG (Malones, Drakes) was doing it with their folks after the remodel but cancelled before last year. No money in it even when they were only servicing the private bar area. Hire a full staff, bring on and hold products, for a decent 3 hour grind and a 20 minute rush in the middle for only 7 occasions a year!!!!!! ....AND that is with selling a higher percentage of wine and spirits vs beer that you would in the general areas (wine and spirits are more profitable than beer). UK hasn't found a replacement for BHG, because nobody wants it and can afford to attempt to run it and they aren't doing a great job managing it.

IF beer sales were allowed, a corporate national company (like LEVY) would come in and run it. They would keep almost all profits as it would be hard to make a profit on this model and UK would only benefit from being able to provide the guest service of beer, without profiting from it. Beer sales solve nothing in our program. If you think it's so great, go open a bar and sell beer only all day every day. Come see me in 2 months when you are out of business. It's fools gold.

Interesting. So the school itself wouldn’t be in control of the concession stands serving the beer? I was always under the impression that it would be like any other concession stand, have the staff in place and just serve the product, which I know nothing about that service, I figured whoever is in charge of staffing the stadium itself would just order product and serve as I stated. That’s very interesting to say the least,

In general, they would hire an outside company to manage, that company would run all food and beverage. They can bring concepts like papa John’s, or anyone really to handle food service. If they want to sell alcohol they would need to allow those concepts to do it, under their blanket license.

you’ve been to venues and have seen “makers bar”, “Tito’s bar”. At the Krog it’s the “ Woodford Club”. Al those places sell off of the blanket license the managing company holds. Also, they have to pay to be there “marketing”. The only people who make money are the beer distributors and the managing company. And they will run the lowest labor they can cause they have the contract and don’t care after that. If they do a good job the University or venue gets a good rating for guest experience, but very little to no money.

I for one would up hold the no alcohol sales. Being around a drunk is the most obnoxious
Situation to be in at a ball game. Especially with your family.
My wife and daughter in law, had a Kentucky fan pour beer on them. He was way over his limit but they kept selling to him.
We tried to ignore him as much as possible.
That did work he kept putting his wet shoes on our seats.
Then of course he said; something to the wrong sonwas on like donkey Kong!!

His friends step in and took care it quick before the cops where called over.

My wife went to the USC game and took our 9 year old niece. Drunk setting be hind them was arrested.

We’ve had few drunks puke on us over the years.
Alcohol can ruin the game experience for fan! Who just want to come to a game and be a fan!!

I see people with shot bottles, pints and beers. In the stadium all the time so it there
But don’t add to the problem by selling more alcohol!!
If people want to drink fine but don’t let our
Stadium become a anti family experience!!

I’m a season ticket hold and have been for a lot of years!

College baseball is a quickly growing sport, you're totally off base. Fans here would actually flood KPP if we had a coaching staff that could produce winning baseball. Half the SEC has bigger attendance for baseball games than they do basketball. Talk about clueless.

I'm surprised OP had time between Budweiser's and his manual labor (supervisor) job to put this post together

We seriously have some of the absolute stupidest fan ideas. All it takes for anyone to know this is just read some of the dumb-*** posts on this board every single day.

When I try to picture some of the people that post on here everyday this is what I see, the kid lying on the couch
