This is a variation of gollumcat's thread:

You can choose three historical events, but you're restricted to events in Kentucky history. The 48-hour time limit still applies.

1. May 1, 1769: Daniel Boone crosses the Cumberland Gap for the first time.
2. April 19, 1792: at Danville, Kentucky adopts its state Constitution.
3. January 19, 1862: the Battle of Mill Springs.

Earthquake that altered the course of the Mississippi River in the 1820s or so would be cool to experience.

Sports wise, one of the memorable Derbys, e.g., Secretariat or American Pharoah, and another thought was watching Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali fight, but don't know if he ever had a bout in Kentucky

Would have liked to have held a big "STOP" sign up to Floyd Collins before he started into Mammoth Cave

- watch a UK football game with the Bear on the sidelines.

1. The Bowling Green massacre. Would have done anything I could have to prevent it.

2. Muhlenberg County whenever John Prine wanted to be there.

3. Whatever the next big sporting event here is once the **** calms down.

For like three seconds I was like -- "What the hell, what 'Bowling Green massacre'"? And then I remembered. [roll]

1. When "Kentucky" was submerged under a shallow sea.

2. When "Kentucky" emerged from the shallow sea.

3. When Governor Andy Dullard was born, so I could pay the doctor to pinch his head off. Just think about it, we wouldn't be suffering from the actions of the goose-stepping socialist thug right now.

You’re not getting of the hook that easy, mister!

Several women were abducted on Ky. Hwy 78 in 1976, and there were numerous witnesses who saw the same object in the vicinity that night, including at least one witness who saw the object chasing the car.

Google UFO Hwy 78.
