New Zealand.

Temperate climate. Beautiful and varied landscapes with plenty of both beaches and mountains. Economy is fairly decent. I could get used to it there.

Trust me, you don't want to live anywhere but the United States. If I were forced into exile I could see myself living along the Adriatic coast in Croatia, maybe in Split. The women there appealed to my tastes.

I agree with this, but if I was exiled from US/Croatia, I'd go Scandinavia where the women appeal to my taste.

Kidding

The U.S. obviously beats everyone but maybe Germany ( not now Merkel sold them down the river with the Muslim scum migrants) or Ireland.

I'm pretty sure the OP is just goofin', but what the hell...

I've traveled in roughly 80 countries in every inhabited continent. Trust me, you don't want to live anywhere but the United States. If I were forced into exile I could see myself living along the Adriatic coast in Croatia, maybe in Split. The women there appealed to my tastes. Also Prague, for the same reason. Australia maybe, though the populated coastal areas aren't that much different in tone and texture than Florida between Boca Raton and Key West or Southern California between San Diego and Malibu.

Well, that's not true. A couple of years ago, we were blown away by Denmark, Sweden, and even Germany. And for years we've loved England and France. The most beautiful place in the world to me is the north of England. The Lake Country and the Yorkshire Dales. And we even felt right at home in grotty old Ireland. Hope they get their economy fixed.

But the big takeaway from our travels is how tacky and rotted we've allowed our public spaces and infrastructure to become. We're no longer the top dog. By a long mark. That comes from throwing hundreds of billions of dollars at wars in Iran and Afghanistan. War in Afghanistan helped knock off the Soviet Union and we clapped our wee handies together and asked for more of the same. People can point fingers at any political idea they want but if you don't want to do basic maintenance anymore you're screwed. Never let the weeds get higher than the garden.

I think it's funny that this question comes up fairly frequently and the answers are all over the globe with a few exceptions. No one ever seriously picks anything in China, Africa, India, Russia, or the smaller Asian countries. These represent a big chunk of the global population and just suck. I would live in the arctic before Africa, and I mean any African country too. India is my personal version of Hell - dusty, crowded, dirty, and hot as ballsack.

If I made a serious choice I would have to say something in northern Europe. Nice lifestyle and could easily vacation in Spain or Greece for a change.

Those Muslims will end up being the world's revenge on Germany for WW I and II.

I could also do with being born in Costa Rica, New York city, or Spain.

I know it's not pc, but I would have to participate in the running of the bulls. And before you judge, I would be from there. It would be all I knew.
