It wasn't so much a moral high horse. For me, it was long term thought of the program.
Bobby may be a good coach and win while he's at your program but it's a house of cards. It's no secret he brings in outcasts and sometimes boarderline criminals and he has a way of keeping them out of trouble. But look at Louisville the first time and look at Arkansas when he was fired.
Secondly, while I'm not a fan of cheating on your wife, the guy did more than that. He hired his mistress, who was engaged to another coach in the athletic dept, so he could keep her quiet and keep an eye on her. That tells me not only is his morals flawed, he didn't care about anyone but himself. No respect for anyone. Not the girl, not the athletics dept and not the guy.
Bobby isn't one to plant down roots so I'm not sure he would of been here a long time if he had been successful at all. He beats Clemson or FSU this year, I got a sneaking suspicion a few of the bigger schools are going to call on him again.
