If you were against hiring Petrino, how do you feel now?

Do I like watching losing football? No. then again I don't like watching winning football if the wins come at the expense of my values and morals either. Perhaps its my age, my Christian values or the qualities and traits ingrained in me as a Marine officer, but winning by cheating and by bending the rules is not winning to me. I'm fine if you feel otherwise. Just the way I feel.
Then you should stop watching college football. College football is a corrupted billion dollar business and all the winning programs are playing dirty.

I just don't think having a good person and a good coach are mutually exclusive. I am not naive but I also firmly believe not every successful coach is corrupt, immoral or an SOB.

I think people can change. And if Petrino continues his good citizen act in Louisville, sticks around and wins them a ton of games(which he will), then we will regret that decision we did not make even more.

Perhaps. I'll admit I do like watching D-III football a lot, probably because its not a corrupted billion dollar business. Frankly, I don't get so wrapped up into whether UK wins or loses that it bothers me a whole lot. Don't get me wrong: I want them to win. I yell and scream watching them; I'm superstitious as hell and will do totally illogical things if I think it will help UK win. And yet when the games over and if we lose, I just remind myself it's just a game being played by college kids and move on.
