I have a car that I really love driving. I have a reason to be in Toronto. I am just looking for some cool things to see on the way. Otherwise... [roll]
If you want to make a cool trip, drive up through New York (state) near Buffalo and to Niagara Falls, then cross the border there and come back south to Toronto. Otherwise, you’re driving through Ohio (the part with nothing in it after Cincy ) and Detroit. Looks like it would be Columbus, Cleveland, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, then Toronto.

If this is your best route to Toronto..Damn.

I've driven to Kentucky through the path you mentioned. From Cincy to Buffalo is suicide inducing. It also looks like it might add another hour or so.

Western NY is a pretty nice drive. I've been up through Corning , Watkins Glen, along Seneca Lake of the finger lakes.
Niagara Falls is worth the stop, if you like history there's an Old Fort Niagara not far away. https://www.oldfortniagara.org/

Up through OH is rather boring, only major terrain feature is the mountain of garbage outside Columbus.
You can stop and get some German food in Columbus. http://www.schmidthaus.com/
Mid-Ohio raceway is great if you are into car races that actually turn right sometimes.
If it was warmer, Put-in-Bay island OH.

Dude he said he wanted a scenic route. The only scene between Detroit and Cincinnati used to be that giant Jesus statue, but it's gone now so there is nothing.

There aint much more going the other way aside from that Ohio barn that says "Jesus Saves" and Erie Pa. I say take the fastest route. Detroit is still better than Columbus and Cleveland right? Buffalo is OK.

My in-laws are in Toronto and we drive up every summer. Go through Niagara Falls. The Michigan drive is worse than Ohio and you should check out the falls.

There’s no such thing as a “cool” drive to Toronto.

Get it over with as fast as you can - 75n to ambassador bridge, 401e to Toronto. Try not to fall asleep. It can be done in under 9 hours if you time the traffic right.

LOL, you guys crack me up. Decided to go through Baltimore. Man...Baltimore sucks at night. I made a wrong turn and I think someone tried to flag me down and sell me drugs. Or at least I hope that's what they were selling. :)

I travel to Toronto regularly and have found going through Detroit is quicker. Unless you want to see Niagara Falls, I recommend 75 up to Detroit and 401 over.

Once you got away from someone selling you drugs, did you pull over and masturbate?
