What sticks out to me.....

Wow , great matchup with MC/GN in round 1

Another possible JCA/Naz matchup early (that's like a state title game)

SHG has some tough teams to beat this year in the 6A south

7A is stacked

5A north still stacked again this year

I thought Loyola has a tough early road

Waubonsie has to take the long drive to Evansville. Good luck WV, bring back the win!

IHSA hates us and schools in this area, why else would they manipulate the brackets so that schools who share a boundary play in rd 1?

How in the world is 5a cut north and south isnt sterling very north of some schools

The butlers and nannies from the Glen wish to thank the IHSA for "fixing the seedings" to ensure our well healed boys won't be subjected to visiting Gately this year.

Good luck to MC as they draw hottest team in the western burbs. I'm sure the 2012 8A Final rematch will be the game of the week for round one. GW is not excited to play either of you.

What I love is how everyone says GW got a suck draw. It could be worse as those two could be lined up as back to back opponents.

Besides, if GW wants to be in the argument for state's best, they might as well have a common opponent if they can't be in the same draw as LA. And everyone wants to be in that argument.

Looking forward to seeing Huntley get rolled in 8A. Any team that puts "Brotherhood" or "Legacy" on the backs of their jerseys has a pretty high opinion of themselves. "Legacy" for finally beating CG after what, 12 years? Good luck boys.

From an equipment standpoint I like the names only because it forces you to have new jerseys every year.

1-11 against Cary-Grove in the past 12 years.. They really do have a high opinion about themselves honestly. I just don't know if Huntley is good enough to get past the quarters.
