I took top 32 enrollments I thought would qualify. I have Maine S or Eville last in 8A. PC looks like very well could be 6A.

So I just did the math and it looks like it might come down to three big Week 9 games:

Glenbard East @ Bartlett - Barlett 5-4 8A entry last year GE smaller than GW and missed by one win. If GE wins, they would be 7A and push up GW
O'Fallon @ ESL - O'Fallon 5-4 8A entry last year and if ESL beats them, ESL into 7A with O'Fallon possibly 4-5 (no judgement on team or schedule.) Belleview West could take O'Fallons spot as 7A as well. Either of these push GW up
Hoffman Estates @ Palatine Fremd - Fremd 5-4 8A entry last year could lose to HE which was 4-5 last year which may push Fremd out and put HE in 7A pushing GW up

I think Soucie was right in pushing GW up to 8A as each of these three options is fairly viable.

As a Palatine fan, I would like this...on the other side of the bracket from Loyola...They beat us in the quarterfinals in 2010 and 2012, and in the semifinals last year.

As a veteran Deanologist, allow me to attempt to decipher this post.

With 2 losses, WV might not get top seed and play a road game, thus that game might be at home for WV.
Brook and HF going for a rematch after their draw?
Palatine has Stevie, Fremd and Barrington and have been known to start slow.
Marist and BR each w/ 2 losses. BR loses to LA and MC while Marist loses to BR and Naz?
