Did he even wrestle here?? He was 2x nj champ 3x finalist rank #4 in weight class before he went Arizona st. Transferred here and never wrestled a match?
I think he got in a bad car crash that ended his career. I guess his Ruthless Wrestling Club may need a rebrand LOL
A buddy of mine lives in Montville NJ ( Where Raimo apparently has a club).He said that Raimo is a class A douchebag, and is pissed off at the world.He saw him in local pizzeria and struck up a conversation with him because he had a RU wrestling shirt.Said he was not even remotely friendly.Just a ...and I will quote him " bug eyed, runt with mushed in looking face"

And to that point, the Perna's where very good wrestlers, but scumbags as humans.Growing up in the Woodland Park, Totowa, Little Falls area, these types always where from that Belleville,Nutley, Bloomfield,Fairfield, East Hanover area. The Perna' where marked men by the FBI and other law enforcement, when Joe Perna beat up that NJ Housewifes, current husband, at the orders of her ex husband Tommy Manzo.Apparently Perna got his wedding for free at The Brownstone.All those guys are trouble...Pernas, DeMarys, Stabiles, Tacettas, and Cettas. All great wrestlers, but have **** personalities, are hot headed, ignorant gavones.

So many shady things go down at the brownstone, did some work at the brownstone in the early 2010s , just kneeling on the floor stained my jeans , saw rats on the property ,shady people coming and going. I remember some east Hanover types you re describing grabbing up some guy they were arguing with and beating him up at the Morris county tournament
I knew alot of these dumb ginzos at my time at PV. They have nothing to offer other than swearing and being shady sscumbag.They never can actually work for a living.These uneducated morons used to crack me up when they would wear suits out, after a day of strong arming, and stealing.SMH.Dirty WOPs.

Bill, anything to discredit our school and program.In all fairness, neither Raimo or Cetta where big contributors to the program. Raimo never really took the mat and Cetta I believe was a career backup.Im surprised they didn't go after Olivieri, too.The kid has always been squeaky clean and I'm impressed that he never got involved in that whole mob scene in East Hanover/ Florham Park...because its so easy to get sucked into that.I used to hangout with some wrestlers from Hanover Park and go to their houses. Their dads where always cool, but you could tell they where shady.They always had suits on with open collared satin shirts, and gold chains with Italian horns and crosses.The mothers always dressed up like they where going to a night club.Real bimbos.Not very bright, that's for sure.

I know if anyone was ever a wrestler and committed a crime it's he was a wrestler. My old HS had a kid that quit after 2 weeks and he was charged with murder and they found an old roster with his name on it and the headline was ex wrestler commits murder. For some reason they always do that sh*t. The AD now since that happened scrubs those max preps or whatever they use for the rosters after every season. This happened like 5 years ago
It's more a local media thing with Rutgers. Hell, basketball had a kid come out for the team that lasted a week. 7 yrs. went by (guy was 27 at time of murder) and the Star ledger Headline, Ex Rutgers Basketball player admits to killing Tijuana prostitute.
Yes I remember Malia from the early 80’s. Our guy from Somerville should have beaten him in the Regions but got screwed on a horrible ref decision

Craziest story I remember is my Junior year in HS myself and 2 other recruits were flown down to Virginia on an Official Football visit...We flew down on a Friday and stayed till Sunday. We were scheduled to meet with Head Coach on Sunday before flight back to Newark...Come Sunday morning myself and another recruit met with HC and they had a Limousine waiting for us to go to airport...Problem was the 3rd guy was nowhere to be found...The University went on a Emergency alert to look for him...2 hours later and Right before we were going to leave they found him in a bush all banged up ( never met HC)...He was a mess and I put him over my shoulder and entered plane...he threw up the whole flight home and had to carry him out of plane and handed him over to his family in Newark...He ended up at UConn and had some very big games for them.
Couple years later I read he was given the Death Penalty in Georgia for a double murder
