Reported that Mt. Carmel grad Tracy Abrams has torn his achille and will miss the entire year. This after missing all of last year with a torn ACL.

Good young man and this is terrible news. I hope he stays at Illinois, gets deep into graduate school and finishes with a strong year next year.

Geez, I hate the Illini. But I read this yesterday and I feel horrible for Abrams.

I hope he gets through it and has a great season in '16-'17 (except for two games).

Best of luck to him.

Terrible news for the young man. Just hate it when kids get injured and can't play.
