I base this on nothing other than my gut feeling, but I for some reason feel pretty confident going into the game tonight, but feel the opposite about going to Indiana on Saturday. Logically this makes zero sense. Illinois has been playing better ball since beating us a few weeks back and Indiana is a sinking ship. But I think we win tonight by 5-10 points and lose on Saturday in Bloomington.

Hope we can win them both of course. Anyone else have a similar feeling, opposite feeling, think I'm an idiot (for this or for any other reason), etc.?

Same here. Saturday is the final regular season home game for IU and likely their last home game of the season, and they will be pumped.

I anticipate that we will be pumped even more. Let's roll and start a streak again! Let's go Cats! Where is Wrassler when you truly need him? We need some optimism now.

We will win both. One comfortably and one nail biter.

Oh, who am I kidding? They're all nail biters.

We're pretty lucky with the end of year road games. It is Indiana's last game of the season, however their roster doesn't have any seniors (at least ones who have played this year). I recall many games in the past where we have been blitzed on Senior Nights.

I suspect Thomas Bryant will be playing his last game in Bloomington....

I'm still nervous for each game, the result of years of emotional abuse by this program. Hoping this season can change that for good.

Illinois has been playing better ball? News to me. The Illini played their best game in several weeks vs. us, but outside that they have ranged from mediocre to flat-out terrible.
