Same thing happened in MA when it went legal a couple of years back. Stores sold out of all types of product.
Illinois has really small quantity limits. If it's not super close to you go to Michigan instead.
They are rationing due to low supplies. I haven't been yet, but I'll probably hold out until spring to let shortages pass and then make a trip for edibles.

How much are they letting people buy?
Glad to see that more states are going to rec. I made the move from KY to CO over three years ago, and legal weed has just become the norm for me now. I always feel bad when my friends back home say they are waiting on their dude to come through.
Michigan you can buy a years supply unless you just get baked out bbn of your mind. They also have lower taxes on it than any other state. They set their law to sell to out of staters.
